Why don't I write in English?

Well that's a fair question, thanks for asking!

I guess the first reason is that I'm lazy. When I first started this blog, I thought it would be cool to write in English and in French. This way all my friends (French and Australian mostly) and most people in general could follow this blog.

Then, I was struck with a cruel reality, writing in two languages takes up twice as much time... I therefore had to choose one.

I like writing in English, especially on topics regarding transition and gender, because lots of words are missing in French, and it makes it really annoying. But then I thought the reason words are missing in French is because no one is talking about it. There are not that many good resources out there for French FtM, not as many blogs, not as many youtube channels, etc.

I think this is what convinced me that this blog could be more useful in French, rather than just-another-ftm-blog, and that motivated English speaking readers could always use a bit of google translate to get all the precious information contained in this blog !

I'm not sure how much of people reading that blog are my friends and family, and how many actually come here for information.

Anyway, I checked out the stats of all pages viewed since the beginning of the blog, and realised that about 10% of the traffic was coming from the United States, and about 20% of the traffic was coming from not french speaking countries (considering that users from Belgium, Switzerland and half of Canada are French speakers).

Therefore, this post is for all of you English or non-French speakers who have been making an effort to read this blog until now. I can't promess I will write more in English in the future but I will definitely answer to English comments and explain things that might not be clear with google translate!

Also, whoever you are reading from Russia and the Netherlands, hello to you! These are definitely two coutries I did not expect to see in that list!
